Fitted with an after-market wood grain dash, Schneider Tachometer, HMV 'Little Nipper' car radio, 'Kar-mate' cassette player, heater and cigar lighter. The engine serial number 10YC/TA/H8075, is a 1098cc 4 cylinder unit with a single SU carburettor.

History

Used as regular family transport by the vendor's father. Purchased new by the vendor's late father on 19/8/70 from Larke Hoskins, Parramatta.

Production

Designed in England by noted designer, Alec Issigonis Manufactured by Leyland Australia at Zetland, Sydney in 1970. The Morris Mini-Minor went on sale in England in 1959. In January 1961 production began in Australia at the British Motor Corporation (BMC) plant at Zetland. In March 1969 the Mini K was released. This particular car is a 1970 model Mini K purchased by the vendor's late father new on August 19, 1970
